Establishing collaboration with the East Africa Community (EAC)
We are candid to ensure a positive collaboration with the EAC, a regional intergovernmental organization composed of so far 8 states.
Our interest is ensuring we align with regional aspirations that do not cause further harm to the environment, while at the same time uplift the people and nature.
Through research, training and capacity development we hope to compliment the effort such as ensuring environmental policy, law and practice harmonization; sustainable and ecologically fit agricultural and food systems, eliminating climate and other environmentally driven or connected insecurities and instabilities, institutional transformation, “green” science-technology and innovation development, assessment and dissemination.
In that regard, establishing solid paths with key EAC institutions such as EASTECO (East African Science and Technology Commision), LVB (Lake Victoria Basin Commission) among others is important to us, as Mind Nature Institute.
