OUR CORE BUSINESS
1. Research, Knowledge Development and Management
Our economies and well-being are largely “nature” dependent. Equally, transforming least-developed economies and people’s well-being requires growing and applying knowledge, data, and contextual evidence. The knowledge-based path is efficient and effective, allows innovation, and reduces waste. As such;
We are engaged in technical, applied, and policy research.
Are facilitating participation in knowledge development and co-creation.
Building research dissemination and connection platforms.
Developing and disseminating various innovations, models, and approaches.
Supporting Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Learning within, including other partners, to establish robust MERL systems, turn them into learning organizations, and orient them to impact and outcomes.
2. Training and Capacity Development
Mind-Nature Institute is enhancing stakeholders with the appropriate ‘green’ skills, knowledge, and training to ensure ‘green’ jobs, businesses, entrepreneurship, and policies and practices.
Capacity development equally influences a mindset that values nature as a resource for transformation.
We want to impact multiple societal levels. As such, we facilitate learning and exposure visits and establish linkages to additional resources, including financial resources, government, and non-governmental agencies, donors, and the private sector.
3. Networking and Partnership Building
Our level of influence and experience is still growing. During this period, therefore, we are deliberate in building lasting partnerships and belonging to the right networks, for, among other reasons, being the collective strengths needed to cause the necessary changes. Therefore we are forming partnerships within the local communities, non-profit sector, private companies, academic and research institutions, Think Tanks, and government agencies with relatable objectives. At the local level, we are bonding with the people closest to the issue, local institutions, and groups.
4.
In all core paths, we are solving problems related to:
Data and knowledge
Governance and rights
Inadequate resources, including skills and power
Coordination and care
