A flagship program and centre to co-develop the plants sector for various uses in the food and agricultural system, health, social and economic wellbeing, conservation, and nature protection.

At this Centre, we believe plants are a huge opportunity that needs to be:
known by farmers and other stakeholders alike, scaled and propagated, developed into products, supported by policy and financial mechanisms, the knowledge, both formal and indigenous, is harnessed.

It is an initiative for four Green areas;

  • Green Investments

The Pool for Green Initiative (P4GI) is also a collaborative space to catalyse countries ‘green growth strategies that ensure efficient use of the natural, human, and physical capital in an inclusive manner for low carbon emissions, climate-resilient, ecologically friendly development pathways.

A hub for Foresight and Futures work.

In our sphere Foresight is a science and art, a policy and practice of looking ahead in time, considering the mid to long term, inline with a factor of interest and considering the possible scenarios to prepare accordingly. Nature drives a lot of these scenarios and preparations.

As such, we are doing foresight and futures studies or work, building capacity, linking with other related initiatives and turning foresight into an everyday act.

The WINN Network was founded on the eve of Women's Day 2024 to mobilize women in nature for nature.

We aim to make women a central and proactive force for good, being a platform for sharing, learning, and exchanging the advances women make for nature and sustainability from around the globe.

We are about capacitating, mobilizing, supporting, motivating, and manifesting women to continue doing a better job for nature and people, from grassroots to global levels. Furthermore, we want to see a weave of effort, results, and further action.

The Woman in Nature Sustainability Network is a platform founded and currently hosted by Mind-Nature Institute.
