Lake Victoria and other water resources conservation

We are operating in a region with one of the World’ largest fresh water lake- Lake Victoria.

The lake, is also source to the point of departure of the River Nile- the worlds’ longest.

These transboundary water resources, in addition to many others serve many countries in Africa directly, and the world, indirectly.

However, with an increasing population, climate and other human induced pressures, water needs have increased. leading to both the quality and quantity of water resources management and governance facing challenges.

Lake Victoria

As such, using an integrated and or watershed/basin approach we are advancing better resources management, use and governance, rights, and practices that ensure environmental goals, sustainability and people’ wellbeing in the Lake Victoria Basin and other catchments.
